Peruvian Belting Ceremony
The Chumpi Paqo is a person who performs the Belting Ceremony. The purpose of the belting ceremony is to balance the magical and mystical sides of our nature, the conscious and unconscious, the worldly and other-world natures; the male and female aspects; and to cut energetic cords from us to others (sexual relations are said to keep us corded to our partner for several years after the incident) or to addictions.
Mary has been trained as a chumpi paqo by Ivan Nunez del Prado.
